Areas of expertise

Primoz is at ease with big numbers and data interpretation, possessing a strong intuition for people and value-creating investment opportunities. His expertise spans two complementary areas: Alternative Investment Funds (including private equity, private debt, real estate, renewables, VC funds, and fund of funds) and Non-Executive Directorship roles, primarily in the financial services and asset management sectors

As one of the pioneers of alternative investment funds in Southeast Europe, he has demonstrated a proven track record since 2010 in raising and growing assets under management, even under challenging conditions. Currently, he leads fundraising efforts for the largest private multi-strategy asset manager (general partner) in the SEE region, managing €550 million across eight funds and on track to raise €1.1 billion by 2025.

He is currently serving his third consecutive four-year term as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the largest financial institution headquartered in SEE and one of the most profitable banks in the CEE/SEE region.
